The Short Stepper is a compact and durable system built with a PA612-CF15 carbon fiber reinforced housing and 316 stainless steel internals for strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term reliability. These are designed to run on AR-15 platforms with a full-auto bolt carrier group. In our testing across multiple rifles, these have been true drop-in installs with no modification required. However, due to tolerance differences between manufacturers, minor fitting may occasionally be needed depending on your specific rifle. Buffer Recommendations • H3 buffer for rifles 10.5" barrel or shorter • H2 buffer for rifles longer than 10.5" No other upgrades are typically required beyond using a full-auto bolt carrier group.
