144.1 Recoil Systems was built from passion, faith, and a love for learning how things work. Firearms have been part of our lives for many years. Long before this company existed, we were already teaching our kids the importance of firearm safety, responsibility, and respect. Our boys fired their first AK platform at just seven and nine years old, and since then they’ve grown up learning the mechanics, discipline, and skill behind the equipment we enjoy. For us, this has never just been about owning equipment – it’s about understanding it. In February of 2025, we officially started 144.1 Recoil Systems. What began as a small operation in our living room quickly grew faster than we ever expected. As orders started coming in and the community began supporting what we were building, the operation expanded into our TV area just to keep up with the demand. Now, we’re taking the next big step and breaking ground on a dedicated shop so we can continue expanding, developing new products, and serving the community that has supported us from day one. The name 144.1 comes from Psalm 144:1:

Blessed be the Lord my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight.

Our faith plays a major role in who we are. We are God-following Christians who rely on prayer, hard work, and trust in God’s plan as we continue building this company.
At the same time, you’ll notice a scientific theme throughout our brand. That’s intentional. We enjoy studying how systems work, testing ideas, and sharing information with the community. The phrase “For the sake of science” represents that curiosity – the drive to learn, experiment, and better understand the mechanics behind the equipment we use.
