The AKrSS is our universal recoil-safety retrofit for AK-style rifles — rugged, corrosion-resistant stainless-steel hardware built for reliability and adjustability. Designed to work across a wide range of AK-pattern receivers and trigger geometries, the AKrSS gives builders and hobbyists a durable option when adapting recoil/reset style systems to the AK platform.

Materials & quality
All metal components are made from 316 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability. The jig are printed in PLA+ for accurate, low-cost fitment and tuning.
Fitment & compatibility
Near-universal for AK platforms — however, some rifles will require minor modification to the firearm or parts of the kit to achieve proper fit and function.
The included jig and shims help dial in alignment and cam wobble, but they do not guarantee a drop-in fit for every AK variant.
Polishing & fit-up note
Some mating areas of the stainless steel parts may require light polishing or fitment work to ensure smooth operation and eliminate rubbing or interference. Polishing the contact surfaces and removing any sharp edges will improve function and longevity — this is a normal part of final fitting for many builds.
