The AK-V rSS brings our rugged recoil-safety retrofit to compact AK-style platforms. Built with corrosion-resistant 316 stainless components and precision printed alignment aids, the AK-V kit is sized and tuned for smaller AK variants (most commonly pistol-caliber and short-receiver builds) while keeping the same reliability, adjustability, and serviceability of our full-size AKrSS. What’s included Trip bar — 316 stainless steel Retainer bar — 316 stainless steel Fime cam — 316 stainless steel ALG cam — 316 stainless steel 3D-printed trigger jig (fits tight on Fime-style triggers) — PLA+ filament Four 3D-printed cam shims for wobble/tuning — PLA+ filament (two × 0.5 mm, two × 1.0 mm) Materials & quality All metal parts are manufactured from 316 stainless steel for outstanding corrosion resistance and long-term durability in harsh environments. Jig and shims are produced in PLA+ to deliver accurate, low-cost fitment and straightforward tuning during installation. Fitment & compatibility Specifically sized for AK-V / compact AK variants (pistol-caliber and short-receiver builds). The kit is broadly compatible across AK-pattern receivers and common trigger geometries, but due to the wide variety of small-variant receivers, minor firearm or kit modification may be required to achieve ideal fit and function. The included jig and shims are alignment and tuning aids — they help dial in cam timing and reduce wobble, but they do not guarantee a drop-in fit for every AK-V variant or aftermarket trigger. Polishing & fit-up note Some stainless mating surfaces may require light polishing, filing, or fitment work to eliminate rubbing and ensure smooth operation. Tidying contact areas and removing sharp edges is normal final-fit work and will improve both function and longevity. Notes on installation Basic gunsmithing/fitting may be required depending on receiver tolerances and aftermarket parts used. Jig & shims are alignment aids only — they are not load-bearing metal replacements. If you’re not experienced with gunsmithing or receiver modifications, seek assistance from a qualified gunsmith.
