What it is The Short Stepper is a drop-in forced-reset assembly for AR-15 platforms. It mechanically forces the trigger to reset after each shot when properly assembled and tuned. This is a drop-in device that requires assembly and per-build lever tuning — it is not a trigger or a device to change trigger pull weight. Compatible with our TURD, FART, or KABUTO three-position safety selectors for three-position operation. Works with most AR-15 lowers; however, dimensional variance between lowers/parts means tuning is required for correct timing and reliable function. Assembly & tuning (important) Ships as an assembly kit that must be assembled and the lever tuned per build to achieve proper reset timing. Basic mechanical skill and proper tools are required.
