The Smith & Wesson M&P 2.0 FRD is precision-made from heat-treated D2 tool steel and finished with a durable black DLC coating. This combination provides excellent hardness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and a clean premium appearance.
No polishing or fitting of the device itself is required. However, firearm tolerances can vary, and some frames may require proper preparation or tuning before installation.
It is extremely important that the firearm be inspected and prepared correctly before using this device. Do not assume that “drop-in” means the firearm requires no inspection, preparation, or testing. Improper fitment may damage the firearm or cause unreliable, unintended, or otherwise unsafe operation.
We do not provide instructions for modifying or preparing the firearm itself. Freedom Finger Triggers currently provides an M&P 2.0 installation guide explaining the preparation process. Customers should carefully review that guide and have all work completed by a qualified professional when necessary.
Each model also features our distinctive side hole, making the design immediately recognizable and helping identify where it originated. The hole can also be used to attach the piece to a keychain, wear it as a pendant, display it, or use it in other creative ways.
