The Big Stepper is a forced-reset assembly designed for AR platforms. It mechanically forces the trigger to reset after each shot when properly assembled and tuned. This is not a true drop-in device — the lever must be tuned per build to achieve proper timing and reliable function. It is not a trigger and does not change trigger pull weight. Built with a collar-less design, the Big Stepper offers increased compatibility across a wider range of lowers and configurations compared to traditional designs. Includes a proprietary black oxide three-position selector specifically designed to work with the Big Stepper system. Standard three-position selectors are not compatible with this style of setup. Works with most AR-15 and AR-9 platforms. The collar-less design allows for improved compatibility across various lowers and configurations. Due to dimensional differences between manufacturers, tuning is required for proper timing and reliable function. Assembly & Tuning (Important) Ships as an un-assembly kit and must be assembled and tuned per build. Lever adjustment is required to properly time the reset — this is critical for correct function. Basic mechanical knowledge and proper tools are required. If you’re unsure, have a competent gunsmith handle installation and tuning.
